A forum member on WPCentral has posted a blurry image of the back of Nokia"s Verizon-bound flagship smartphone, the Lumia 929 which is expected to hit the shelves in the near future.
The Windows Phone 8 Update 3 running phone is believed to be a slightly smaller variant of the recently launched Lumia 1520. Previously leaked information about the smartphone states that the Lumia 929 will have a 5" screen of 1920x1080 resolution (1080p), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor running at 2.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of onboard storage, full set of connectivity options with BT 4.0 LE, NFC, WiFi, Qi wireless charging and a 20 megapixel "PureView" rear camera.
Color options include black and white, and according to the tipster both versions have a matte finish and not glossy as reported earlier.
Lumia 929, which was rumored to go on sale from November 21st along with the Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet, has not yet been revealed by both Nokia and Verizon. WPCentral"s tipster points to a mid-December release for the device which is quite late considering that the phone was already reported to be in carrier testing and was expected to be on sale on Thanksgiving.
