Nokia Phi to be the first Windows Phone 8 device?

Microsoft"s upcoming smartphone operating system Windows Phone 8 has created a lot of buzz since its announcement. Windows Phone 8, code-named Apollo, will have tons of new features and will hopefully increase Microsoft"s share in the smartphone market.

Now leaked images revealing info on the first Windows Phone 8 device have appeared on the net. The leaked info reveals that Nokia Phi could possibly be the first Windows Phone 8 device.

Nokia Phi is expected to have almost the same design that Nokia Lumia 900 currently has. Also, the device will feature an external microSD card slot along with NFC capabilities and it will be the first dual-core Windows Phone device with a S4 CPU made by Qualcomm. The device will also support Bluetooth file transfer and will come preinstalled with Internet Explorer 10.

While there is no announcement on the release dates of this phone, sources reveal that it could be launched later in October along with a few other Windows Phone 8 devices.
