Nokia tablet images surface, don't get too excited

When images of new devices leak, our inboxes are usually flooded with messages telling us to cover the new device. Once again, this morning, when a Nokia tablet popped up, we got tipped about the supposed leak.

The image you see above gains a bit for credit for being on a reputable site and is clearly showing a well designed application. What draws a lot attention on this page is not the application that is being shown but that the tablet is a Nokia branded device. While the device does look like a fantastic product, it is simply a generic tablet with the Nokia name slapped on the front for extra appeal. In short, nothing to see here, keep moving along.

We would love to see Nokia build a tablet (might we suggest the concept we made last year) but the hunt continues to see if Nokia truly is building a device using Windows products outside of Windows Phone. But for now, all we know is that they are still hammering home the Lumia Windows Phone brand and we should hopefully hear some news about Verizon landing a flagship device in the near future.

We should note that the images have been pulled from the source.
