Apparently, using the Vulkan and DX12 APIs posed problems in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, respectively.
There was some stalling and hanging on 4-core and 6-core chips when using the Vulkan API in Red Dead Redemption 2, which is fixed by this.
It also mends a problem in Shadow of the Tomb Raider whereupon it crashed when launched on the DirectX 12 mode.
This release is based on the previous 441.20 WHQL driver, so it contains all the optimizations of the previous release as well. Needless to say, if you aren"t playing the above games or you do not encounter the aforementioned issues on your system, you can skip updating to this.
