Nvidia releases 391.01 WHQL drivers with optimizations for Final Fantasy XV and more

Nvidia today released the GeForce Game Ready 391.01 WHQL-certified drivers, delivering optimizations for Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Final Fantasy XV, as well as World of Tanks with its brand-new engine upgrade.

In addition to the three titles, the driver introduces an up to 7% performance boost for PlayerUnknown"s Battlegrounds for the GTX 10-Series graphics cards. As the impact of these improvements depends on the user"s hardware and graphics settings, Nvidia has compiled a handy chart to give players an idea of what to expect; do note, however, that the system these cards were tested on had an Intel Core i7-7820X @ 3.6GHz, 32GB of DDR4 2666Mhz RAM, and ran Windows 10:

1920x1080 2560x1440 3840x2160
GeForce GTX 1050 7% - -
GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 5% 6% -
GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 5% 6% -
GeForce GTX 1070 5% 5% 6%
GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 4% 5% 6%
GeForce GTX 1080 3% 7% 7%
GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 5% 5% 7%

Additionally, the new driver brings along a number of bug fixes:
