Nvidia to release mitigation updates for Shield TV and Tablet

Nvidia is the latest company to start issuing updates for its chips in wake of the vulnerabilities found in certain CPUs. The company announced some releases for its GPUs, as well as a schedule for when other updates, such as those for its SoCs would be coming.

The company revealed updates coming for its Android-based Shield Tablet and Shield TV. Shield Experience 5.4 for Tablet and Shield Experience 6.1 for TV will both be out before the end of January.

Nvidia also announced updated for it high-end Tegra Jetson SoCs. For those that don"t know, the TX1 is "the world"s first supercomputer on a module," while the TX2 "is the fastest, most power-efficient AI computing device." The TK1 is mainly used for embedded systems applications on supercomputers around the world.
