Nvidia has been trying to create a gaming and information hub for a number of years with its GeForce Experience app. Now the program has been bumped up to version 3.0, bringing many new features and revamping the app to be blazingly fast.
GeForce Experience went through a complete redesign, getting new, extra features as compared to its predecessors and offering a much cleaner and attractive user interface. The new default UI starts off the app with your games library, offering large icons for each title, and quick options for launching the games or seeing details and optimizing their graphics settings.
Nvidia claims GeForce Experience 3.0 runs three times faster while only using half the memory that it used to. While we can’t be exactly sure of those numbers, we can confirm that the performance improvements are noticeable. Users should definitely appreciate the extra speed.
Nvidia also upgraded ShadowPlay to have a more consistent UI with its other offerings, and the GeForce Experience app can now record gameplay at 60 frames per second in up to 4K resolution, to make sure your gaming skills get shown off in full glory. The recording can be edited and trimmed for length, while the program also has the capabilities of livestreaming directly to Twitch or YouTube.
Unfortunately, all of these advances have come with a predictable downside, at least from some people’s point of view. Nvidia now requires you to sign in with a Facebook, Google or Nvidia account to take advantage of GeForce Experience.
You can upgrade to version 3.0 straight from the previous GeForce Experience app or you can download the latest version from the source link below.
