Nvidia launched the RTX 3080 Ti on June 1. It was rumored that Team Green would pin the card as a direct competitor against rival AMD"s 16GB RX 6900 XT at the $999 price point. However, that clearly didn"t happen and instead, the card was unveiled for a price 20% higher at $1,199. In terms of specifications, the 3080 Ti comes equipped with 10,240 Ampere CUDA cores and packs 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM across a 384-bit wide memory bus.
Alongside the 3080 Ti, Nvidia also announced the RTX 3070 Ti which will be available for $699 on June 10th. This one packs 6,144 Ampere CUDA cores and comes with 8GB of GDDR6X VRAM across a 256-bit wide memory interface.
