O2 has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is now available on its network with a range of custom plan tariffs. The folding glass device was first announced this week during Samsung’s Unpacked 2020 event and has an RRP of $1,380 / £1,060.
By using the custom plan tool on the O2 website, you can choose how much you’d like to pay upfront, options range from £40 to £1,290 and affect how much you pay per month. The other options you need to choose are how long you’d like the contract to last, and how much data you want each month. Contract lengths vary between three and 36 months while data allowance options include 3GB, 5GB, 20GB, 40GB, or unlimited.
Commenting on the device’s availability, Magnus McDonald, Director of Product and Category Management at O2, said:
“At O2 we’re always looking to offer our customers the very latest technology, and that’s why we’re delighted to be one of the launch partners for the brand-new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
“Projected to be in high-demand, with it destined to catch attention and stand out from the crowd, customers can get their hands on the device for less than they think thanks to O2 custom plans, where they can choose to spread the cost over 36 months.”
If you’re thinking about upgrading your device and want to cash it in, you can use O2 Recycle. While most well-known brands are listed, you’ll be out of luck if you want to trade in a more obscure device. If a flip phone is not for you, O2 is also selling the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy S20+ 5G, Galaxy S20 5G, and Galaxy S20.
