Instant Messaging
Anywhere contact names are avaliable in Office 11, users can initiate a conversation by sending an instant message. Users can see when other authers are online in converse with them from almost anywhere in Office 11 Beta programs.
Outlook
Navigation Plane: The navigation pane now includes the Folder List to facilitate navigation between Outlook 11 Beta folders and simplyfy the Outlook window
Reading plane: The new reading pane displays twice as much information without the need for scrolling
