OneDrive for Android improves security with new fingerprint lock feature

OneDrive for Android has been receiving updates over its lifetime, improving the experience, along with adding new features. Now, the app has been updated once again, bringing more features, but most importantly, improving security.

Previously, the OneDrive app was only able to be secured by using a PIN code. Microsoft has now added the ability to lock the app using a fingerprint. Along with the new security measure, the firm has also improved the app"s grid view when viewing photos. The company claims that this change will "help photos stand out and look their best". There is also one other improvement with the new grid view, giving users a better view to see what photos have and have not been backed up.

If you are currently running OneDrive on Android, you might want to download the new update. However, if you have automatic updates set, your app should already be updated with the latest features. If you"ve never tried OneDrive and are curious, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
