Recently, Microsoft updated its OneNote app for Windows 10 and iOS devices. The update brought a revamped interface for the app which was meant to be uniform with other platforms. Today, Microsoft has quietly updated the app on Android devices as well.
This update features a redesigned user interface and simplified navigation controls, improving the usability for users with assistive technology. In addition to that, the update also brings OneNote Web Clipper to Android phones, which allows users to share web pages across multiple devices. Users can now clip web pages to the OneNote app by using the share option available in the browsers. The clipped pages can then be accessed from any device using OneNote.
Moreover, the latest update also has some bug fixes and performance improvements. The release notes for this version are as follows:
- We have updated the design of OneNote to simplify navigation controls and enhance usability for users who use assistive technology.
- Save the web to OneNote and access it anywhere. Click on Share in your browser, and use the OneNote Web Clipper to clip websites, articles, recipes, and more.
