Microsoft has rolled out a new update to OneNote for iOS with the ability for users to import details from their Outlook meetings to the note-taking app. That applies to the extraction of meeting dates, locations, agendas, topics, and attendees.
OneNote"s listing on Apple"s App Store now reflects this fresh capability:
Get a head start on your meeting notes: Quickly import useful details from any scheduled Outlook meeting into your notes - including date, location, agenda, topic, and attendees.
Thanks for using OneNote! We listened to your feedback and updated the application with optimizations to help improve your note-taking experience.
The update bumps up the app"s version number to 16.28. It"s the latest integration between the two productivity apps that Microsoft rolled out after adding a new option in June for Outlook app users to send e-mails to the OneNote UWP app instead of the OneNote 2016 using the "Send to OneNote" button. The same capability went live for Outlook on the web and Mac computers through an add-in.
The latest change also comes after OneNote for iOS received an update in May of this year, allowing users to set photos as background. You can head over to the App Store and download the updated OneNote app.
