As we near the end of the year, OnePlus fans eagerly await the reveal of the minor refresh to the OnePlus 6 announced earlier this year. The update is supposed to bring a few choice improvements to the specs of the phone, and a better design.
However, one of the most important questions still remaining to be answered is the phone"s price, which the many previous leaks about the phone"s design and specifications haven"t revealed. A new report from MySmartPrice has finally shed some light on this crucial aspect of the phone"s marketing mix.
It would seem that the price of the OnePlus 6 - sporting 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage - will start at ₹37,999, and will go up to ₹44,999 for the top-of-the-line model. That corresponds to a starting price of about $514. The pricing in markets outside of India will likely be higher, but not very much so.
The leaked information also shows the two colour variants which will be available at launch, Mirror Black and Midnight Black.
Compared to the OnePlus 6, the phone will include a new in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch. It"s also supposed to pack a larger battery and ditch the headphone jack. The phone is also confirmed to run Android 9.0 Pie right off the bat, and OnePlus has teased some exciting new software changes to come with the new version of OxygenOS.
OnePlus will officially unveil the phone on October 30 at its dual events in New York and New Delhi.
