OnePlus has been known for its style of providing a drip-feed of information about its next-generation smartphone in the weeks prior to its launch event. Earlier this week, the company confirmed that there will be two models of the upcoming OnePlus 7 series, including a standard version and a Pro variant.
Today, OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will be featuring a triple camera setup on the back. The confirmation is courtesy of a video teaser shared via OnePlus" Twitter account, though it stopped short of disclosing the camera"s specs.
It"s clear that the teaser refers only to the Pro variant of the device, so it is likely that the standard OnePlus 7 will retain its predecessor"s dual camera setup on the back, though that could still change. Although there"s no official word on the OnePlus 7 Pro"s camera specs, a recent leak suggested that it may include a 48MP main shooter, 16MP wide-angle camera, and an 8MP zoom camera. Its front snapper is believed to be a 16MP camera.
OnePlus also confirmed late last year that its next phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC. Additional details about the OnePlus 7 series will surface on May 14, when the company will unveil the device.
