The OnePlus 8T has leaked in a few benchmark listings and reports thereby confirming its existence. Today, courtesy of PriceBaba, we now get our first look at the OnePlus 8T in high resolution renders.
The renders show that the OnePlus 8T will get some major design changes at the back. The camera hump has been moved from the center to the top-left corner, with the design now looking very similar to the Galaxy S20 series. The device will house four camera sensors which will include a 48MP primary shooter, a 16MP ultra-wide angle shooter, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
At the front, the leak indicates the OnePlus 8T will feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. As evident from the renders, the 8T will have a flat display panel with notably slimmer bezels than the OnePlus 8 Pro. The punch-hole on the left will house a 32MP selfie snapper, up from the 16MP shooter found on the OnePlus 8 series.
OnLeaks also confirms that the OnePlus 8T will feature a Snapdragon 865 chipset, and it will be available in two different RAM and storage variants: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The battery capacity will be 4500mAh, though the biggest upgrade will be in terms of charging speed with the OnePlus 8T featuring 65W Warp Charge. This would mean that the OnePlus 8T will end up featuring faster wired charging speeds than the OnePlus 8 Pro.
The OnePlus 8T is expected to launch towards the end of this month or in early October.
