OnePlus is joining the long list of smartphone manufactures who have started producing power banks with their own 10,000 mAh device. Unlike some of the other single USB power banks out there, OnePlus will have a total of three USB ports: one micro-USB port to charge the power bank, and two for charging a user"s devices.
The design of the power bank seems to revolve around minimalism, having no writing or symbols outside of the required electronics markings and the OnePlus logo embossed into the top corner of the device. The power bank also has some LED lights indicating the amount of power available. Weighing in at 220g and measuring 142.8 x 72.6 x 16.2mm, the power bank isn"t exactly small enough to be casually put in your pocket, but it certainly won"t take up too much space in a bag or purse.
The 10,000 mAh battery in the OnePlus power bank itself will take five and a half hours to charge, but the amount of energy in the power bank should provide enough juice to charge your smartphone three times. Available in both black and white color options, it should be ready to purchase some time today or tomorrow directly from the OnePlus website for $14.99 - a fairly low price compared to some of the others out there.
