OnePlus launches Warp Charge SOS - a 'battery rescue' campaign in London

In what seems to be a PR stunt to promote the new Warp Charge 30T, OnePlus has arranged an emergency truck to drive around London for the day to help those with low battery levels charge up their phones. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is calling it the "Warp Charge SOS" campaign, and it is available to all members of the public. Designed to look like a fire engine, the emergency battery charging truck operators are saving British residents" dying phones dressed as firefighters.

Those interested in requesting the charging service can contact OnePlus to send the truck over by posting their location on the OnePlus UK Facebook page or by sending out a Tweet with the hashtag "WarpChargeSOS" to the official OnePlus UK Twitter account.

Got a battery emergency? The #WarpChargeSOS service is here to save the day. For today only, our rescue team will be in London to save you if you"re dangerously low on juice.

Tweet us at #WarpChargeSOS with your location and we"ll be there in no time! https://t.co/P3sOqnJQxv pic.twitter.com/o9uNYeHZIK
