OnePlus" upcoming mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord, has been teased and talked about extensively, both by the company itself and multiple leaks. Many of the phone"s specifications have been revealed, but there are some tidbits left to uncover. Now, a report from Android Central has shone light on the camera setup on the device.
On the back, the OnePlus Nord will feature a set of four cameras, headlined by a primary 48MP sensor, though it"s unknown which sensor that will be. Additionally, there will be an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. OnePlus had previously stated the device would feature a "flagship-level camera", but based on those numbers alone, the Nord seems to align pretty closely with many other mid-range smartphones.
As for the front-facing cameras, we had already heard about that setup, which consists of a 32MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Dual front-facing cameras are somewhat less common, especially among mid-range devices, so that could help the Nord stand out from the crowd.
The OnePlus Nord is set for a full reveal on July 21, and many details about it have been revealed leading up to the announcements. The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 765 5G chipset, and along with that, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 4,300mAh are some of the expected features to appear on the spec sheet.
