Earlier this year, OnePlus announced its OnePlus 3 handset that offered top-tier specifications at a reasonable price of $399. While it has only been eight months since its initial release, the company has now released an update to the affordable flagship, the 3T, which offers Qualcomm"s latest Snapdragon 821 processor and a few more improvements.
While the focus of the 3T will no doubt be the aforementioned Snapdragon 821, there are also other improvements to the handset like the new 16MP front-facing camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 3400mAh battery and a larger storage option of 128GB. For those that aren"t quite sold on the Gunmetal variant, OnePlus will also offer a new lighter option with its "Soft Gold" color.
OnePlus 3T specifications:
- 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor
- 6GB RAM
- 64GB/128GB storage
- 16MP front-facing camera wth PDAF / 16MP rear camera
- 3400mAh Battery
- USB Type-C
- OxygenOS 3.5 based on Android Marshmallow
Per usual, the OnePlus handset will be available directly from their website. The new "3T" will be priced at $439 USD for the 64GB and $479 for the 128GB model. The handset will be available in the US on November 22nd, and the EU starting November 28th.
