OnePlus is working hard to get out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to its users, leaving other issues like the touch sensitivity feedback, to be resolved later.
OnePlus has been keeping itself very busy over the last couple of months with the company launching a new smartphone, the OnePlus 3T, and delivering software updates to its lineup of devices. However, amid all these launches and updates, some users noticed a slight lag when using their OP3 and 3T devices, leading to calls for a software fix. The lag comes from the “touch sensitivity” set in the system preferences by the manufacturer, where very small movements don’t get registered. It’s a minor issue, and OnePlus’ co-founder said that users should keep things in perspective, because nobody complained about this previously.
@getpeid however please keep things in perspective. For its entire lifecycle, no one gave us this feedback for OP3, and nothing changed.

That’s not to say OnePlus won’t “fix” this problem, but just that the company is much more focused on launching the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its users. Previously, the company had promised that a beta of Nougat would roll out to OnePlus 3 and 3T users by the end of this month, which leaves fewer than 24 hours for the company to fulfill its promise. A wide distribution to all users was promised before the end of the year.
It’s unclear if the company will manage to keep its promises, especially as it’s often been notoriously late with updates for its devices. Still, even if it misses its deadlines, there’s little doubt that many users will laud the company for focusing on Nougat right now. After all, the next version of Android, 7.1.1, will be officially released by Google in just a few days.
