OPPO announces its R11 handset with a 20 MP and 16 MP rear camera running Android 7.1

While the name OPPO might not strike you with the same resonance as Samsung, the firm has had a long history building mobile phones that dates back to 2008. In its near decade of producing handsets, the company has made numerous advances in design, quality and also price.

Today, OPPO has revealed its latest device with the R11. What distinguishes it from the rest of the pack is its impressive dual camera setup offering a 20MP and 16MP sensor. Not only are there plenty of megapixels, the camera also has the capability for 2x optical zoom. If the dual cameras on the rear weren"t enough, the smartphone also offers a 20MP front-facing camera.

As far as the rest of the phone goes, there is a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Qualcomm"s Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM and it also comes with 64GB of internal storage. The device should be able to provide a decent amount of power with its 2,900mAh battery and take advantage of the software battery optimizations since it"s running Android 7.1.

Currently, there is no price for the OPPO R11 since it is scheduled to arrive to market on June 10. But when it does, you"ll be able to pick it up in three colors: Black, Rose Gold, and Gold.
