OPPO F5 arrives featuring sleek design and AI-assisted 20MP selfie camera

For a couple weeks now, OPPO has been teasing the release of its new handset, the F5. Now, the firm has officially revealed the device that offers a beautiful design, a near bezel-less display, and plenty of power.

As you can see from the images, OPPO has pulled out most of the stops when it comes to its F5 handset, offering a sleek design with plenty of screen real estate. The screen comes in at six-inches and has a resolution of 2160 by 1080. As far as power is concerned, it will have a MediaTek MT6763T chipset, with 4GB of RAM for the Black and Gold model, with the Red variant getting 6GB RAM. Similarly for storage, the Black and Gold model will arrive with 32GB, while the Red version will have 64GB internal storage. Both will have room for expansion via a microSD card slot.

As for the camera, the rear will be packing a 16MP unit, while the front-facing camera will be a 20MP sensor. Now what makes the OPPO F5 a bit different from its competitors is that it will include:

"the all-seeing F5 camera that captures human beauty in all its forms – no matter
your age, gender, skin tone or skin type. Propelled by complex algorithms underpinning
Artificial Intelligence technology, the F5’s 20MP front camera brings out your photogenic best."

What this basically means is that you"ll be able to take beautiful selfies, with the F5 claiming to offer superb results. Along with the usual sensors, it will also have a rear mounted fingerprint reader and will also come with a 3,300mAh battery. The Oppo F5 will be available for pre-order in the Philippines starting on October 27 for ₱15,990 which is around US$310.
