Oppo today announced the Reno3 Pro in India with a dual-punch 44MP selfie camera. This is the world"s first phone to feature a 44MP camera at the front, besting even the 40MP shooter found on the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
The Oppo Reno3 Pro is a mid-range phone. It packs a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is also the world"s first phone to be powered by MediaTek"s Helio P95 chipset. This is an octa-core chip clocked at 2.2GHz and it offers 10% higher AI performance compared to its predecessor, the Helio P90.

While the Reno3 Pro lacks any periscope camera system as found in previous flagship Reno devices, it does offer 5x hybrid zoom using the 64MP primary camera. Other notable camera features include Ultra Steady Video 2.0, Ultra Dark Mode, Video bokeh effect, and more. The 30W charging solution can charge the device to 50% in just 20 minutes.
The device goes on sale in India starting March 6. The base 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage has been priced at Rs 29,990 ($415), while the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs 32,990 ($457). Oppo is offering free damage protection to customers who purchase the Reno3 Pro within 3 days of its launch from an offline store.
