Ori and the Will of the Wisps gets a new gameplay trailer, delayed to March 11, 2020

At this year"s edition of The Game Awards, Moon Studios showed another gameplay trailer for its upcoming platformer, Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

Initially teased at E3 2017, the sequel to 2015"s award-winning Ori and the Blind Forest showed glimpses into the aftermath of the first game"s events, featuring among others, Kuro"s baby. The title was also showed off at E3 2018 with an expected release year of 2019, then at E3 2019 with a date set for February 11, 2020. The trailer above however does unfortunately confirm another delay.

Much like this year"s E3 showcase, this trailer shows off a bigger focus on big boss encounters - as opposed to the first game"s more dungeon-escape approach -, as well as new moves. Previous fan-favorite abilities like Bash also make a return.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is now slated for a March 11, 2020 release, as an Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive, although it"s also coming to Steam and Xbox Game Pass, as have Gears 5, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, and Halo: Reach this year.
