Oukitel debuts its budget C12 Pro handset, proudly boasts it's an iPhone X clone

Oukitel has been releasing a steady stream of handsets this year, many of which, have either featured a design copied from a popular smartphone competitor or offered up a ridiculous amount of battery life and physical protection. The latest from the firm, the C12 Pro, takes inspiration from the former idea and is another Android smartphone molded to look like Apple"s iPhone X.

Now, the above description might sound harsh, but it"s the truth and Oukitel isn"t shy about where it gets its inspiration from, even calling out the homage in its press release sent via email. The C12 Pro will offer a large 6.18-inch 18:9 display, MediaTek MT6739 processor, and will come with 2GB RAM. The rear will feature a fingerprint reader as well as a dual camera setup that makes use of 8MP and 2MP camera sensors. The firm states that the rear panel will be made from polycarbonate and will incorporate a special UV layer to give it a polished look.

As far as the battery goes, the handset will come with a 3,300mAh capacity unit and it will be running Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone does not yet have a price, but will be aimed at the budget range and is slated to arrive by September.
