The Apple iPhone X launch is tomorrow and while some will have them delivered through the mail, others will try to make their way to Apple retail locations for a chance to purchase the handset. It appears that some individuals were not content with either option as they decided to break into a UPS delivery van parked outside of an Apple Store and were able to take more than $370,000 worth of product.
The theft occurred outside the Stonestown Apple Store located in San Francisco at around 11:15am and it was apparently performed by three large men in hoodies driving a white van. According to the police report, the cargo in the truck included 313 units of the iPhone X which at a minimum is valued at $313,000. Those that are picking up their pre-orders from that specific location will be glad to know that they will still be getting their orders that day. Luckily, no one was harmed in the incident.
The Apple iPhone X is currently available for order through the company"s website and is also available through a variety of wireless carriers. The handset will make its retail debut on November 3.
