Panasonic has announced a new lineup of 3D devices, ranging from compatible 1080p HDTV"s to Blu-ray players. Panasonic is set to release their new 3D HDTV"s, Blu-ray and now their new partnership with DirectTV to bring consumers an in-home true 3D experience.
Panasonic is also introducing a brand new 3D camcorder, said to launch at a reasonable price and within a reasonable time frame, April 2010. The new 3D camcorder hardware features two lenses to capture 3D for a true experience, without the need for specialized software to create the image.
3D display was finalized in December 2009, and already Panasonic is ready to launch their new 3D line-up and capable Blu-ray players. Panasonic"s Viera home theater system will be available Spring 2010.
Panasonic and DirectTV is set to deliver true 3D experience right inside your home, with a free software update to some set-top boxes June 2010. DirectTV will make the biggest game of the year available for 3D, with MLB3D. DirectTV customers will get 3DHD channels by June 2010, with more partners to follow including: CBS, NBC, Turner, MTV, HDNet and FoxSports.
