Oh heck, been dying to share PANDORA!Totally free, no ads through 2013.Best Pandora on any phone, IMO. bit.ly/WMvrP1
When Microsoft announced Pandora for Windows Phone 8, they stated that all users would get a year free of the platform. Well, it looks like Pandora has finally been released and is now available on the Windows Phone Store.
Joe Belfiore made the announcement on his Twitter account and says that there will be no ads through 2013 for Windows Phone users. Although, according to a follow-up tweet, it looks like the offer is only good for consumers in the US.
While the gesture will surely be appreciated for those of us in the US, if you live outside of this region, you are out of luck. But, Belfiore did state that for those of you outside the US, “we"ll try to find something else fun in a few days”.
Any interesting aside to the release of Pandora is that when Windows phone 8 was announced, Microsoft said users would get one year of ad free music, but with today’s release, users will only get about 9 months of ad free music. This likely means that the app missed its release window but either way, it is still a nice gesture by Microsoft.
If the link is not working for you, it should updated very soon.
