Another week, another giveaway. Epic Games Store keeps putting up double freebies in its weekly promotions, and to replace Amnesia: Rebirth and Riverbond have arrived copies of Paradigm and Just Die Already.
The first of the two, Paradigm, a point and click adventure game described as a "surreal" experience set in a post-apocalyptic landscape. You take the role of a mutant with a dream of becoming a electronic musician.
Here"s the setting as described by the store page:
Something went wrong during Paradigm’s growing process and he was left horribly mutated. To save their reputation, DUPA dumped the hideous infant in a nearby post Neo-Soviet abandoned town, forcing him to fend for himself. Paradigm didn’t let this get him down and found solace in music. He dreams of becoming the best electronic music artist the world has ever seen!
Meanwhile, Just Die Already drops in as an open world "old people mayhem sandbox" where you take the role of angry elderly who"ve just been kicked out of retirement homes. Developed by the Goat Simulator studio, this multiplayer experience offers plenty of absurdity.
Here"s its description:
You are an old retired person in a near future where people aren’t having any children. There isn’t anyone to pay for pensions due to those ungrateful millennials who prefer playing video games instead of doing actual work. With no one to cover your living costs, you - just like all other old people in this world - have no other choice but to survive on your own.
If you opt to pick the games up when not on sale, both Paradigm and Just Die Already would set you back $14.99 each. Find the minimum requirements below:
