One of the earliest games to be featured on Origin"s On the House program is back for another run, as EA is once again giving away the award-winning casual game by PopCap Games, Peggle.
The gameplay revolves around clearing a selection of orange pegs that are scattered among blue pegs throughout a board. You are given 10 balls to achieve this task, but as pegs hit by the shooting ball are cleared off the board after each shot, the overall objective becomes more difficult as time goes on.
There are also special power-ups that you can activate by hitting green pegs, which trigger events such as spawning two balls, activating pinball flippers on the bottom of the board for bouncing back balls, and more. In total, the game has 75 challenges to tackle.
Peggle is now available to claim free of charge via the Origin On the House page and all you need to grab it is an account on the platform. As always, there is no end date attached to the promotion, but judging by previous giveaways, it should run for at least a month. As for system requirements, if your computer was made anytime in the last 15 years, the game should run without any hiccups.
