With the console wars heating up again and both Sony and Microsoft settings their sights on matching PC level graphical fidelity by incorporating 4K and HDR capabilities on their offerings, Sony has already put forward its foot with the PS4 Pro and the ball is now in Microsoft"s court with it"s upcoming "Project Scorpio".
As an updatefor those eagerly waiting for any morsels of information about Microsoft"s upcoming PS4 Pro contender, Xbox head Phil Spencer tweeted today about his first experience playing games on a prototype model of the console:
Great day, Scorpio update w/ team. Played my first games on early Scorpio unit. Games played great, console looked right, proud of the team
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) January 24, 2017
Microsoft has claimed that Scorpio will be the most powerful console ever, with a significant advantage over the PS4 Pro and if Spencer"s words, biased though they may be, are anything to go by, it seems that Microsoft will be able to fulfill that promise to its fans after all.
Spencer also said of the console"s design that it "looked right". While Microsoft hasn"t revealed any details on its exterior design at this point, the Xbox team has apparently being doing a good job.
