Last year, Sony impressed consumers, fans, and the industry when it unveiled the PlayStation 4. This year it looks to repeat that feat without the aid of a next generation console unveiling. Sony"s press event had a couple of heavy hitting titles, but also some obscure games that will only cater to a niche group. Regardless, Sony is taking chances, which means it"s willing to think outside the box, and that could be the defining difference.
Uncharted 4: A Thief"s End
Lastly, Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar"s final masterpiece for PlayStation 3 was a very special game. It pushed the console to its limits and introduced a new element to the franchise that had never been seen before. The only thing anyone could"ve possibly asked for is a release on the PlayStation 4. Luckily, Rockstar has done just that and will release the iconic title on the PlayStation 4 in 2014.
