Popular Windows app Fhotoroom stops development because Microsoft 'hasn't paid' them

In a rather unusual - and perhaps illuminating - series of tweets, Supporting Computer Inc, the developers behind the popular Fhotoroom tool have indicated that development on a Windows 10 Mobile app was stopped because Microsoft "hasn"t paid...[them]...in five months".

We have tried to stay silent but the simple reason there is no #W10M app for #fhotoroom is because @Microsoft has not paid us for 5 months.

As a result of these problems, the developers were forced to halt further development on a Windows 10 Mobile app, leading to repeated complaints from users about bugs and finally culminating in the public outcry by the developer.
