Yesterday, Microsoft announced the general availability of PowerApps. At the same time, the company also announced that the app will be coming to Windows 10 Mobile; a preview will be available later this week.
Microsoft said the following (via Windows Central):
We’re also excited to announce the PowerApps for Windows 10 Mobile app. We’ve had many requests for a Windows Phone app. With this addition, you can run apps built using PowerApps natively across Windows, Windows Phone, iOS, Android, and web browsers. PowerApps for Windows 10 Mobile will be available in the Store as a preview later this week.
This is bound to be great news for those that worry about Windows 10 Mobile being left out when Microsoft is developing its own services. After all, the iOS and Android PowerApps apps are already available in their respective app stores.
Microsoft is calling PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI its "power trio", in that it allows for power users to do things that previously required developer skills. In preview since April, the three services each play a role in automating processes, visualizing data, and creating applications.
