Alongside the many devices it announced earlier this month, including the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, Microsoft also unveiled a new version of its Surface Dock. Today, the Pro 4 and Book officially go on sale in the US and Canada, but while the Dock won"t be available until later this week, you can pre-order it now.
Pre-orders for the Surface Dock have been open at the Microsoft Store for some time, priced at $199.99, with the promise of shipments beginning on October 30. The same date is given over on Amazon.com, which is now also accepting pre-orders, but the Dock is priced a little lower there, from $184.80.
The Surface Dock features two Mini DisplayPorts, four USB 3.0 ports, one audio-out and one Gigabit Ethernet port. It"s compatible not only with the two new Surface devices unveiled this month, but also with the older Surface Pro 3.
