PUBG Corp. announces new campaign to improve PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

PUBG Corp. acknowledges the complaints it received over the poor frame rate performance of PlayerUnknown"s Battlegrounds (PUBG), which has been suffering from a lack of optimization. Now, the video game developer has introduced a new initiative that aims to fix the problems concerning the game"s performance on PC.

PUBG Corp., which is a spin-off of South Korea-based Bluehole Studios, announced the new campaign called "Fix PUBG" on Twitter, and said:

"Fix the Game."

This is a phrase we’ve been hearing a lot lately. So today, we’re announcing a new campaign entirely focused on addressing bugs, quality-of-life improvements, and fundamental performance improvements.

The campaign comes in the form of a new website which contains a roadmap with specific goals that PUBG Corp. wants to achieve moving forward. The roadmap includes various categories such as "Client Performance", "Server Performance", "Anti-Cheat", "Matchmaking", and "Bug Fix and Quality of Life Issues".

PUBG Corp. plans to address several issues over the course of several months beginning in August and lasting until the end of October. For example, the studio wants to wrap up "level streaming optimization" in August and complete "character optimization" by the end of October under the client performance category.

The website also displays a log of fixes meant to provide details about the planned corrections and improvements. PUBG Corp. says that it will share specifics about what it is working on and the estimated timeframes for delivery dates throughout this campaign.
