Quark has announced its new CEO, former GE executive Raymond Schiavone. Schiavone has joined Quark as its president and CEO. Acting president Lind Chase has chosen to stay with the company as its senior vice president of enterprise products.
Quark chairman, Farah "Sasha" Ebrahimi said: "This important change signals a new era for Quark. We are excited to bring in professional management of the calibre of Ray Schiavone. He has exactly what we need to aggressively take Quark to the next level. His in-depth experience growing global software companies will benefit our customers, our partners and our employees."
Before TPN Register, Schiavone had a successful career as an executive at GE, holding senior positions across the US and Europe across 14-years. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a bachelor of science degree from Syracuse University. Schiavone is also a board member of the University of Maryland Engineering School.
