"Voice of Microsoft" Blogger to Resign

Robert Scoble, the man who has been described as a human voice to the Microsoft corp. is to resign from his position in favour of the equally-geeky roll of technology podcaster at PodTech.net.

His blog entitled Scobleizer was often seen as taking the hostility away from Microsoft and gave the public some insight into the workings of an average employee. Scoble was praised for his neutrality and his ability to not only criticise Microsoft but also recognise and praise their rivals.

His accolades also include the running of Channel 9, a website that interviewed Microsoft employees in a bit to gain greater understanding of ongoing projects. It has also been said that Scobleizer inspired a number of similar blogs at other companies.

In his June 10th entry he blogged: "First, I love Microsoft and Microsoft did not lose me — at least as a supporter and friend. I am not throwing away my Tablet PC or my Xbox or my other Microsoft stuff."
