The Avalanche Studios and id Software-developed open-world shooter Rage 2 is soon getting another expansion, following the Rise of the Ghosts DLC that landed in September. Announced today by Bethesda with the title TerrorMania, the new expansion is scheduled to release on November 14, delivering a cursed alternate reality version of the Wasteland (Deadlands) for players to tackle in a new quest.
Ranger Walker will be facing undead and skeletal versions of the regular gangs from the base game in this new Deadlands dimension. Among new areas, this dimension will also feature recognizable locations like Wellspring and Overgrown City that have been turned into more evil versions of themselves like Hellspring and Overbone City, respectively. These locations can be revisited after completing the DLC as well.
There is a magical sword involved too, with the Sword of Transitus arriving as a new weapon that can both stab things and open portals between worlds.
Rage 2: Terrormania expansion will cost 500 Rage Coins ($5) to purchase from the in-game store once it becomes available on November 14 across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
There will also be a 1750 Rage Coin ($17.50) costing Digital Deluxe edition of this expansion, which adds on the Cult of the Death God mission, along with the Reaper weapon skin, and Wasteland Celebrity and Mutant Monster vehicle skins.
