Today"s Ubisoft Forward 2020 gaming showcase has been a busy one. A multitude of both old and new titles have been announced including a Prince of Persia remake, the return of the Scott Pilgrim game after many years, an open-world extreme sports title called Riders Republic and Immortals: Fenyx Rising, the game previously known as Gods and Monsters.
In the midst of all these announcements, the French game maker tossed in a tidbit of information concerning one of its most popular games, Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft revealed that the game will be landing on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The online tactical shooter title will be playable in 4K with a high refresh rate of 120fps.

Ubisoft also confirmed that the owners of Rainbow Six Siege will be able to upgrade to the next-gen variant of the video game at no cost, which is starting to become a norm in the gaming industry right now. No further details about the next-gen release have been disclosed yet.
On a relevant note, an international competition called the Rainbow Six Siege: World Cup was also announced at Ubisoft"s presentation today. Players from around the world will be able to participate and compete for a trophy.
