Rare SNES titles Iron Commando and Legend are being re-released in old cartridge form

Piko Interactive is a unique company that focuses on developing and publishing new games for older consoles like the Nintendo SNES, NES, and Sega Genesis. The firm has also had a hand in resurrecting older titles that are hard to find because they were released in limited quantities or in other regions.

Today, the firm is happy to announce an Indiegogo campaign, that if funded, will see the resurrection of two SNES titles, Iron Commando and Legend. Both of these titles were originally released by developer Arcade Zone in the 1990"s and are beat "em up titles similar to that of Capcom"s Final Fight series. Iron Commando was an exclusive release in Japan, and can now fetch a price of more than $300, while Legend was a US release that has become hard to find and can cost upwards of a $100 from second-hand markets like eBay.

Luckily, Piko Interactive has acquired the rights to both of the aforementioned titles, and is looking to re-release them into the hands of gamers. The campaign will offer an NTSC and PAL version of the SNES cartridge, along with the option to purchase it with box art and manuals. The pricing for the cartridge will start at $45. For those who want to simply enjoy the game itself, the firm will also offer a download key for the game that can be used on Valve"s Steam platform for $4. If interested, be sure to check out the campaign in the source link below. The team has a month left, and has raised 10% of their goal so far.
