Razer announces the Blade 15 with an option for a 4K OLED screen

With Intel announcing its ninth-generation H-series CPUs today, that means that it"s time for a bunch of new gaming laptop announcements. Razer is among them with its new Blade 15, which sports the new Core i7-9750H CPU.

The most exciting thing about the new Razer Blade 15 is the display options. While it has a 15.6-inch FHD 144Hz screen in the base model, there"s an advanced model that can come with either a 4K OLED display at 60Hz, or a 240Hz 1080p display. The 4K OLED display includes 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and it"s HDR 400 True Black-certified.

Just as you"d expect, the Razer Blade 15 includes Nvidia"s RTX graphics, which support features like real-time ray tracing and deep learning super-sampling (DLSS). The base model comes with a GeForce RTX 2060, while the advanced model is offered with an RTX 2070 or RTX 2080.

The Blade 15 is CNC milled from a single block of "aircraft-grade" aluminum, and it has a matte finish to make it more scratch-resistant. Naturally, the keys include Razer"s Chroma lighting.

The Razer Blade 15 will be available in the U.S. and Canada tomorrow, and in May in other markets. The base model will cost $1,999, while the advanced model starts at $2,399.
