Today, Razer announced that it would be updating its Blade Stealth laptop model with one of Intel"s latest eighth-generation processors, specifically utilizing the Intel Core i7-8550U and being paired with 16GB DDR3 memory.
If unfamiliar with Razer"s offering, the Blade Stealth is its slimmest model and features a 13.3-inch Quad HD+ IGZO touch-enabled display with a resolution of 3200 x 1800. Although it isn"t the most powerful when it comes to graphics, utilizing an Intel HD Graphics 620, it does have the ability to hook up to Razer"s external graphics box dubbed the Core, when more GPU power is necessary. For storage, the laptop will rely on a 512GB PCIe SSD.
The chassis is made from aircraft grade aluminum, weighing in at 2.97 pounds, and the laptop measures in at just a tad over a half an inch. With the Blade Stealth, you"ll have the option of purchasing the unit in a black or gunmetal gray finish. The black one does have a slight advantage when it comes to looks, as it offers individually customizable backlit keys, whereas the gunmetal gray model will come backlit in white.
The Razer Blade Stealth is available now for $1,699, directly from Razer"s web store.
