According to the folks at XDA Developers, the update is being provided over-the-air (OTA) and will enable HDR playback, as well as Dolby 5.1 audio support. The firm is once again tweaking the quality of the camera and also issuing a fix that caused slight yellowing in some images.
On the security front, Razer has updated the phone with the January security patch, along with a fix for Meltdown and Spectre. Despite this being the company"s first handset, it is well ahead of the game when it comes to smaller updates - the smartphone is still running Android 7.1.1, with plans to update to Android Oreo by the end of Q1 of 2018.
