Razer"s Blade Stealth 13 is getting a refresh today, bringing plenty of performance for a laptop small enough to carry around. Previous Blade Stealth laptops have always been about being able to play some games in a small form factor laptop, but the new model has a much more impressive set of features than before.
For starters, the Razer Blade Stealth 13 is available 13.3-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the first of its kind in an ultrabook. The high refresh rate panel only comes in Full HD resolution, but if you"re more of a creative professional than a gamer, you can also get a 4K display with Gorilla Glass. Either way, you"ll be getting 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. Above the display, the 720p webcam is accompanied by an IR camera for Windows Hello.
In terms of power, the new Blade Stealth 13 comes with Intel Ice Lake processors, up to a 25W Intel Core i7-1065G7, which has Iris Plus graphics. The laptop also has dedicated graphics in the form of an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, promising 80% more performance than the GTX 1050. Naturally, this is a Max-Q design, so it"s not going to be the same level of performance as a desktop GPU, but it should still be pretty solid. The laptop also has up to 16GB of dual-channel LPDDR4X RAM, which is clocked at 3733MHz, and 512GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The battery is 53.1Wh.
The keyboard has also seen a bit of a redesign, adding a full-size right Shift key and half-height directional arrows to make room for it. It supports Razer Chroma lighting, but only with a single lighting zone. The trackpad is glass and uses Microsoft"s Precision drivers. In terms of ports, there"s a Thunderbolt 3 port, one USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 port (also capable of charging), and two USB Type-A ports at USB 3.1 Gen 1 speeds, plus a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.
The new Razer Blade Stealth is available today from Razer"s website and select retailers in the United States and Canada, starting at $1,799.99. It"ll be available in other regions "soon", and it will start at €1,999.99 in Europe.
