Approximately six months after unveiling its entry-level Realme 2 smartphone, Realme is now set to announce a new device. The Chinese smartphone maker has teased the upcoming launch of the Realme 3 in India on March 4.
The company posted a teaser image today on Twitter with a splash of celestial bodies. Also, a Realme follower on Twitter posted real-world photos of what might be the Realme 3 with a starry pattern on the back.
A recent tweet from the company also shows off a phone with a diamond design on the rear panel. As to the specs of the device, Realme"s chief executive officer in India recently confirmed that it will be powered by a Helio P70 SoC. Additionally, the handset is expected to be boasting a 48MP camera, which is increasingly becoming a trend among Chinese smartphones such as Xiaomi"s Redmi Note 7.
The Realme 3 is also rumored to be priced starting at ₹10,000 (~$140). For comparison, the Realme 2 retails for ₹8,990 (~$126) for the 3GB/32GB variant and ₹10,990 (~$154) for the 4GB/64GB configuration, so the rumored price of the upcoming device seems reasonable.
