Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC shows up in Rockstar Social Club's website source

Rumors and hints of Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC have been swirling around from even before the western adventure landed on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. And today, another mention of a PC version was discovered, this time on Rockstar"s Social Club website.

Twitter user JakoMako51 was the one who unearthed the mention, where the "locale-en-US-json.js" file on the website has "RDR2_PC_Accomplishments" listed right alongside PlayStation trophies and Xbox achievements. Note that in Social Club, PC achievements of games are listed as Accomplishments, as seen on the Grand Theft Auto V page here.

The fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC is now quite evident. #RDR2 #reddeadredemption2pc #RedDeadRedemption2 #rdr2pc #reddeadredemption

This seems to be the first time that an official Rockstar page has had a mention of a Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version. However, it"s unclear how long has this mention been here, so it may not be wise to get hopes up on an official announcement happening soon. But, right now it"s probably a matter of when and not if.

Grand Theft Auto V originally took one and a half years to reach the PC platform following its launch for the previous generation of consoles. Hopefully, Rockstar won"t be following the same pattern for Red Dead Redemption 2.
