Redmi Note 9T 5G gets a 22% discount on Amazon UK

The Redmi Note 9T was only launched a month ago and has already been picked up for inclusion in Amazon"s Deal of the Day with a hefty 22% discount off its retail price, bringing the 5G capable phone down to just £179 in the UK.

The Redmi Note 9T is powered by MediaTek’s 7nm-based octa-core Dimensity 800U SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The version on offer comes with 64GB of internal storage that"s expandable with up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. It has a unibody polycarbonate back and sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ Dot display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate. Its screen has a punch-hole cutout housing the 13MP in-display camera. The Note 9T also features Corning"s Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection and it still has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

On its back, there"s a triple camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter alongside an LED flash. In addition, the rear camera"s design actually looks similar to that of the Poco X3. The Redmi Note 9T packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, with a 22.5W charger inside the box. Its other features include a multi-functional NFC, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an AI Face Unlock system.

Although this phone was launched in Daybreak Purple and "Nightfall Black", only the latter is available with the former being shown as out of stock at the time of writing. This also applies to the slightly more expensive 128GB variant, which is currently on sale for £229, which is a £20 savings off the £249 list price.

Oddly enough these do not qualify for free delivery without Prime, and this deal ends after today February 4th. Also to clear up any confusion, the Note moniker in the name does not imply that it comes with a stylus or can take handwritten notes.
