Apple’s dramatically overhauled mobile OS has certainly proved divisive since its unveiling a couple of months ago. Broadly speaking, most agree that the update brings considerable welcome improvements, but the look and feel is still a bit much for some to swallow. But, love it or loathe it, iOS 7 is coming soon.
BGR’s sources have disclosed that the final beta release of iOS 7 is all but ready, and will be made available to developers next week. Beyond beta 6, the next milestone will be the final Gold Master (GM) build, which is expected to be released to Apple employees and partners on September 5.
Assuming there are no disasters with the GM build, that’s the version that will be released to developers on September 10, when Apple is expected to announce its latest flagship, the iPhone 5S, and a new cheaper model, believed to be called the iPhone 5C. It"s been rumoured that at least one of those handsets will be available to own from October 25.
